Throughout central Iowa more and more people are discovering the scope of our work with the homeless and hungry as well as those who suffer with destructive additions. When visitors to Hope Ministries tour our facilities, they often leave saying, “I had no idea Hope Ministries did all that!”

When visitors to Hope Ministries tour our facilities, they often leave saying, “I had no idea Hope Ministries did all that!” Here are a few examples of what we hear during the holidays:

• “I had no idea you deliver more than 2,000 Thanksgiving and Christmas meals to low-income families, shut-ins and elderly in our community!”

• “I had no idea you had a facility for homeless mothers and their children!”

• “I had no idea you do all this on private support!”

• “I had no idea you provided Christmas presents for everyone at your Door of Faith, Hope Family Center and Bethel Mission facilities!”

• “I had no idea you needed that many turkeys!”
